UNICO 2
The Unico 2 calibre was developed to equip smaller chronographs whilst also opening the world of Hublot to new enthusiasts. It retains the unique design of its previous version with a dual-clutch system visible from the dial side, as well as a 72-hour power reserve. Thanks to various technical optimisations – including the introduction of a new, flatter automatic winding system – its height has been reduced by 1.3 mm.
SAPPHIRE
In search of the perfect fusion between movement and case, Hublot's engineers and chemists researched and developed a transparent material that makes the heart of the watch visible whilst remaining robust enough to effectively protect the movement. The Manufacture thus became an expert in synthetic sapphire – a material whose aesthetic qualities are unique within watchmaking and transform every watch into a true work of art.
