In developing its own automatic chronograph movement, Hublot wanted – as with all its creations – to create something First, Different and Unique. As the soul of the watch, this movement with an "open heart" reveals its completely redesigned architecture, with a dual-clutch system and a column wheel on the dial side, as well as a 72-hour power reserve. Its construction of 354 components was simplified as far as possible to enhance reliability and robustness.

CERAMIC

For Hublot, materials are an integral part of their watch design. They must complement the design, protect the movement and stand the test of time. The Manufacture has therefore chosen to use high-tech ceramic for certain bezels and cases – an extremely resistant and virtually scratch-proof material (with the exception of diamond) based on zirconium, sintered at very high temperatures.
